Our Team

Dr. Farago is a Board-Certified Addiction Medicine Physician treating all ranges of Substance Use Disorders including opiates, alcohol, cocaine, benzodiazepines, gambling, and others. He routinely manages treatment for intoxication, withdrawal, and detoxification of alcohol, sedatives, stimulants, and opiates in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr. Farago is licensed in both Canada and the United States to practice medicine and provide substance use disorder treatment at the highest levels. He is a Fellow of both the American Society of Addiction Medicine and The American Board of Addiction Medicine as well as a certified member of the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Peter Farago is passionate about helping individuals regain their lives by stopping alcohol and drug use.

Paulina Ives is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Addictions Medicine. Paulina has a Bachelor of General Science and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Windsor. 

Paulina worked as a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit after working in Windsor on a complex-continuing care unit.

Paulina completed her Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Windsor in October 2020. She is certified with the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support as well as the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation for Healthcare Provider CPR. She is certified in treating Opioid use disorders through the Center of Addiction and Mental Health of Canada. She is a member of NPAO and CNO and has privileges to practice as a Nurse Practitioner with no restrictions.

Chelsey has been practising as a Registered Practical Nurse since 2020. Her experience includes long-term care and retirement home nursing. Since becoming part of the Aegis Medical team, she has become very passionate about helping people with substance use disorder achieve their goals. She prides herself on exceeding patients' expectations, offering support and gain the trust of our patients. 

While working with Aegis Medical, I have become trained in administering Naloxone and the Sublocade injection. I am also BCLS certified. I look forward to obtaining other addiction certifications in order to provide the best possible care for our patients. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends.
