Aegis Community
Magan started her career as a licensed pharmacist, graduating with Rho Chi honours from the Doctorate of Pharmacy program at Wayne State University in Michigan in 2010. She then practiced as a pharmacist for 6 years, and gained over 10 years experience in management.
She found her passion for helping those with addictions and mental health with the inception of Aegis. Magan has since become the Executive Director of Aegis Community, the non-profit arm of Aegis Health Group that works to create a community of support for those suffering from the disease of addictions. Following the teachings of Dr. Gabor Mate, Magan's mission is to provide compassionate, accessible, and trauma-informed care to those with addictions through education and outreach.
